Visit of a Coffee-Cacao plantation – 2D/1N

Today, you will take the road to Huayopata, a charming village located on the Amazonian route toward Machu Picchu.

Upon your arrival, Julia and her family will welcome you warmly. You will have a moment to settle into your room before enjoying a traditional lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go with Julia or her husband to discover the family plantations of coffee and citrus fruits. You will learn everything about the production of Peruvian coffee, from the plant to the cup, and you will be able to prepare your own coffee to enjoy on site.

Dinner will be shared with the family, and you will spend the night there, surrounded by nature and hospitality.

This morning, you will enjoy a typical breakfast before returning to the family’s fields. After yesterday’s coffee, today it’s time to discover Peruvian cacao.

The base of our beloved chocolate, cacao is often unknown in its natural form. This morning will therefore be rich in flavors, learning and discoveries, from the fruit to the cacao paste.

At noon, we will continue our journey to the next stage.
