We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 a.m. to head toward Tinki, then Pacchanta, a small Andean village near Mount Ausangate, where a local breakfast will be waiting for us before beginning the hike toward the lagoons.
Enjoy breakfast in the community of Andamayo, where you will find many options to taste the delights of our country.
Today’s walk will last about 6 hours. Along the way, we will discover one by one the magnificent Ausangate lagoons: Azulcocha, Oqécocha, Pucacocha 1 and 2, Alqacocha 1 and 2, and Q'omercocha, each offering unique landscapes with colorful waters.
Throughout the route, you may observe llamas, alpacas, viscachas, several bird species, and with a bit of luck, a condor.
Lunch will be served near the hot springs of Pacchanta. If time and conditions permit, we will enjoy a relaxing bath before returning to Cusco, with an expected arrival around 7 p.m.
