Your morning begins with a drive towards the picturesque Andean village of Chinchero. Your adventure starts with a cultural immersion during the visit to a traditional textile center. Local artisans reveal to you the ancestral techniques of weaving and natural wool dyeing, a know-how transmitted intact since the Inca era. You then take the time to explore the Inca ruins of Chinchero before starting the nature part of your day.
You embark on a superb hike, mostly downhill, along an ancient segment of the Inca Trail. This walk of about 3 to 4 hours plunges you into the heart of lush and preserved vegetation. Along the way, you enjoy a well-deserved break at the splendid Poc Poc waterfall, a true haven of peace ideal for relaxing to the sound of water and contemplating the landscape. The trail finally leads you to the peaceful village of Urquillos, located in the valley. At the end of your journey, your private driver waits for you there to take you back to Cusco or drop you off directly at your hotel in the Sacred Valley, depending on the rest of your trip.
