Homestay immersion tour in Peru: discovery of Lake Titicaca, the Uros Islands, and the Capachica Peninsula

Today, you begin a two-day immersive experience with a local family around Lake Titicaca. Your host picks you up in Puno, and then you embark on a boat ride on Lake Titicaca towards the Capachica Peninsula.
Along the way, you make a stop to visit the Uros floating islands (optional) to discover the unique lifestyle of this lake population. Upon your arrival in the village of Paramis in the late morning, you settle in with your hosts before sharing a traditional lunch.
The afternoon is dedicated to a hike on the peninsula and participation in the community's daily activities. Dinner and homestay for the night.

In the morning, you set off for an artisanal fishing session on the lake with your host. This boat trip allows you to discover one of the major economic activities of the region and understand its importance for the inhabitants of the lake and the Llachón peninsula.
Back in Paramis, you continue your exploration of local customs through cultural sharing workshops. You have lunch with your host family before leaving your hosts and heading to your next destination.
