Homestay in Pisac: cultural immersion in Cuyo Chico and discovery of the Parque de la Papa

Departure from Cusco towards the Sacred Valley to reach the Tinkuy community in the village of Cuyo Chico (Pisac sector). There, you are welcomed by your host family to live a true participatory tourism experience.
In the morning, you get hands-on during a traditional cooking workshop to learn how to prepare tasty quinoa empanadas under the guidance of the community's experts.
In the afternoon, you discover the ingenuity of ancestral construction techniques by participating in the artisanal making of adobe bricks.

You then share dinner with your hosts, an opportunity to listen to their stories and learn more about local agriculture. Homestay for the night.

In the morning, you head towards the village of Paru Paru, located in the heart of the exceptional Parque de la Papa (Potato Park). Accompanied by members of the local community, you discover the central role of this tuber in Andean history, culture, and daily life.
You study the preservation of dozens of ancestral varieties, traditional production techniques, and research related to climate change adaptation. After sharing a tasty, typical Andean lunch prepared by the locals, you head back down into the valley.
Depending on the available time, you stop to discover the famous Pisac artisanal market before hitting the road back to Cusco in the afternoon.
