After a morning briefing with your guide at your hotel to check the equipment, you head towards the Tambomachay site. This is where your hike begins with an approximately 4.5-hour walk to the Queullacocha pass, offering a splendid view of Cusco and the Andean peaks.
After lunch at the summit, the route continues for 4 hours through the pampas and high-altitude lagoons towards Patabamba. Upon your arrival, Rosalio and his family warmly welcome you and prepare a pachamanca, a traditional meal cooked underground.
You share a convivial evening in the heart of the local culture.

After a shared breakfast with your hosts, you begin your walk to the Sacred Valley 'balcony', an exceptional panoramic viewpoint overlooking the villages of Pisac, Calca, and Lamay, with the Pitusiray, Sawasiray, and Verónica glaciers in the background.
The ascent continues towards the Pukamarka pass before descending into the spectacular León Punku canyon for lunch, surrounded by impressive rock formations. In the afternoon, you take an ancient section of the Inca Trail to reach the archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo ('Little Cusco'), which you explore at the end of the day.
You spend the evening at Natividad's home for another night of Andean sharing.

This last day of trekking begins with the ascent of the Tauca pass (4,435 m), the highest point of your hike. After 4 hours of effort, the summit offers you a spectacular 360-degree view of the Urubamba mountain range. After a contemplative break, you begin a 3-hour descent to the Piuray lagoon and the traditional village of Chinchero, where you have lunch. The afternoon is free for you to rest or enjoy a moment of relaxation.

The morning begins in Chinchero with a fascinating demonstration in a family textile workshop, where you discover ancestral techniques of spinning, natural dyeing, and weaving.
You then hit the road to the Moray archaeological site to explore its famous concentric circular terraces, a former Inca agricultural laboratory. Your tour continues to the Maras salt mines, a unique landscape consisting of thousands of pools suspended on the mountainside. From there, you take a superb downhill hike to the Urubamba River.
Your driver picks you up to go to the living Inca village of Ollantaytambo, where you visit the impressive strategic fortress.

Early departure to board the train from Ollantaytambo to KM 104, the official starting point of the short Inca Trail. Your hike begins with a visit to the Chachabamba archaeological site, then winds for about 3 hours through the cloud forest to the magnificent Wiñayhuayna complex and its suspended terraces.
You continue your walk on the paved trail to cross Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), from where you get your first unforgettable panoramic view of Machu Picchu at sunset, before the arrival of the next day's crowds.
You then take a shuttle down to the village of Aguas Calientes to check into your hotel.

Early in the morning, you take the shuttle to climb to the entrance of Machu Picchu (2,430 m). Perched between the Andean peaks and the Amazon rainforest, this wonder of the world reveals itself to you during a comprehensive 2-hour guided tour through its sacred sectors, temples, and paved squares.
After the tour, you hike down to Aguas Calientes via a pleasant hiking trail (about 1.5 hours of walking, bus option available on site).
You then take the train back to Ollantaytambo, and a shuttle takes you to the Wanchaq station in Cusco, followed by your private transfer to your hotel.
