Early departure to reach the village of Tinqui (3,850 m), the starting point of your Andean expedition, crossing the rural landscapes on the heights of Urcos.
You begin a moderate 5-hour walk through the countryside to reach the foot of the majestic peaks of the mountain range.
You set up your camp as close as possible to the glacier. At the end of the day, those who wish can relax by enjoying a dip in the natural hot springs located just steps from the camp.
Night in a tent.

After a breakfast facing the mountains, you head towards the extreme west of the Ausangate massif. You begin the ascent of your first pass: the Arapa pass (4,710 m).
After crossing this peak, you slowly descend towards the sumptuous Pucacocha lakes, where the ice reflects in the turquoise water. You set up camp there to enjoy an excellent hot meal prepared by your cook.
Night in a tent.

This day is the most intense of your trek. From the morning, you begin the climb towards the Ausangate pass (5,000 m), which offers an exceptional panorama of the sublime Ausangatecocha lake.
The effort continues with the ascent of the Palomani pass (5,000 m), the highest point from which you enjoy a spectacular view of Mounts Ausangate and Mariposa. You then begin the descent to reach the peaceful Hunchuy Finaya valley where you spend the night.
Night in a tent.

For this final hiking stage, you begin your return towards the village of Pacchanta. You walk among herds of llamas and alpacas in a high mountain setting.
Upon your arrival, you enjoy a well-deserved soak in the Pacchanta hot springs, offering a breathtaking view of the snow-capped peak of Ausangate.
After this relaxing immersion, your vehicle awaits you for the return transfer to Cusco.
