Palcoyo-Ananiso

We leave early this morning for a unique adventure to the Cordillera Arc-en-Ciel de Palcoyo, a less-frequented alternative to Vinicunca, offering breathtaking scenery of colorful mountains in shades of red, ochre and violet.

Before starting our hike, we'll make a stop at the spectacular Stone Forest, a fascinating geological site with impressive rock formations. We then embark on a scenic, mostly downhill hike to the village of Ananiso. For around 4 hours, we'll enjoy incredible views of the majestic Ausangate range, one of Peru's most impressive peaks.

Before reaching Ananiso, we'll take a well-deserved break to enjoy lunch in the middle of nature, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, we'll explore the fascinating Ananiso Canyon, a geological wonder millions of years old.

Finally, we return to the village, where our driver will be waiting for us.
