Our concept

Escapate, a Slow tourism company

Stop running and take the time to discover! You will have the opportunity to get away from the tourist routes and pay local families.

Based on the principles of slow tourism (Slow Tourism), our excursions and trips will give you the opportunity to fully immerse yourself in Peruvian culture and discover the regions that you will cross like no other. Our experience and our perfect knowledge of the proposed destinations will allow us to adapt to each of your desires, take you to preserved sites and make you live unique and unforgettable adventures in contact with the local population.

Our story

Who are we ?

Founded by three francophones passionate about Peru, Escápate was born in the heart of the former capital of the Inca Empire.

We wanted to propose rather than a stressful tour with just the time to take photos in front of the sites and monuments that are chaining, unique adventures and an immersion in the country.

Why rush in a frantic race to see «everything» (and really nothing), when you can dive into the heart of the real local life, where every moment is a discovery.

Isn’t the real magic of a destination in its vast landscapes, the smiles of its inhabitants, the richness of a local market, or the discreet charm of a site still preserved from mass tourism?

Our values

Ethic

We ensure that our partners and employees share our moral and environmental values.

Our team is selected primarily for their honesty, humanity, integrity, tolerance and ability to empathize when the situation demands it.
Its also important for us to pay our employees above the local average.

Respect

Respect within our team, first and foremost, and also for the local populations with their cultures, identities and traditions, which we highlight throughout our experiences.

Respect for the environment, too, with products designed and organized according to our new model of discovering, preserving and regenerating for the good of all and for future generations.

Social Engagement

More than just a travel agency, our day-to-day work contributes to local development through the choices we make as part of our corporate vision.
Our locally-focused experiences aim to promote regional attractions and local population.

In order to support the populations we visit, our prices include a “solidarity percentage” calculated on the total amount you pay. We carry out various actions throughout the year, with schools and the most vulnerable people.

Our team

Our team is made up of professionals with a deep passion for Peru, who are dedicated to designing tailor-made experiences that go beyond the typical itinerary. We understand the importance of deep market knowledge and the ability to develop memorable experiences for travellers. And what really sets us apart is our unwavering love for our destinies and the eternal curiosity to rediscover them, plunging us into the flavors, aromas, melodies and emotions that only Peru can offer.
