Inca Trail Trek 2D/1N

You will take the train from Ollantaytambo to KM 104, where our adventure on the Inca Trail begins.

We start early with pickup from your hotel in Cusco, heading to Ollantaytambo, where we board the train to Machu Picchu. We get off at KM 104, the starting point of our hike on the Short Inca Trail.

Our first stop is Chachabamba, an Inca site nestled in lush vegetation. From there, we hike for about 3 hours to Wiñayhuayna, an impressive complex featuring more than 40 agricultural terraces, stairways, and temples.

We then continue to Inti Punku (the Sun Gate), an ancient checkpoint offering unforgettable views of Machu Picchu.

Finally, we descend to Aguas Calientes, where we check in at the hotel for the night.

After your discovery of the Inca citadel, you will take the bus down to the village of Aguas Calientes.

The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.

Overnight at Sacred Stone Boutique in a standard room.

You will need to go to the main avenue of Aguas Calientes to take a shuttle bus that will bring you to the entrance of Machu Picchu. The ride takes approximately 30 minutes.

After your visit to Machu Picchu, you will walk down to Aguas Calientes. The hike takes around 1 hour and 30 minutes.

If you prefer to return by bus to the village, it is always possible to purchase your ticket at the exit of the site.

You will then take the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, you will be assisted by the train company and board a shuttle bus that will take you to the Wanchaq station in Cusco.

The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes by train, followed by 2 hours by shuttle bus.

Transfer to your hotel upon arrival in Cusco.
