Your day begins with a transfer from Cusco to Chitapampa, the starting point of this Andean immersion. There, you begin a hike on ancient Inca trails alongside llamas and alpacas, traditional travel companions of the Andes, to reach the charming village of Patabamba. Upon your arrival, you share a special moment with local families by participating in the preparation of a traditional pachamanca, a typical dish slow-cooked underground using hot stones.
The afternoon is dedicated to discovering their ancestral textile art and an introduction to traditional knowledge about local plants, a living heritage of the mountains.
This community-based tourism journey ends with your return transfer to Cusco at the end of the day.
