Discover one of the least touristy areas of the Sacred Valley with our excursion to the Andenes of Yucay, ancient Inca terraces still cultivated by local communities. Here, Andean rural life is preserved in harmony with the land and far from tourist crowds.
You will walk through peaceful landscapes, surrounded by mountains and green fields, observing the daily work of farmers and sharing moments with families who preserve ancestral traditions.
A unique experience, ideal for those seeking the authenticity of the Andean world and who enjoy getting off the beaten path.
Museo Inkariy:
During our visit, we will also explore the Inkariy Museum, an incredible space dedicated to the history of the pre-Hispanic cultures of Peru.
Founded by the Mérida family, the museum offers a journey through civilizations such as Caral, Chavín, Paracas, Nazca, Mochica, Wari and, of course, the Inca culture.
The visit includes thematic rooms with exhibitions of art, ceramics and clothing, as well as dioramas and hyper-realistic mannequins that recreate scenes of ancient life and rituals.
Without a doubt, one of the most interesting cultural stops in the Sacred Valley.
Pottery Workshop:
We will also visit during this day the Seminario workshop and gallery, a place where the tradition of Andean ceramics comes to life.
Founded by artists Pablo Seminario and Marilú Behar, this space combines ancestral techniques and contemporary style, inspired by the pre-Hispanic cultures of Peru.
We will enjoy the knowledge and guidance of our hosts during a class in which we will learn more about this millenary art.
